In the fall of 2022, One Challenge leaders and some of our OC Global Alliance partners came together for a leadership conference. One outcome from the event was a desire to see OC shaped by a culture of prayer.

We hope to deepen our culture of prayer and obedience — moving from seeing prayer as something we do to having it be central to who we are.
OC has always been a praying mission, but we want to be a mission that truly recognizes Christ as the head. We want to go to him first — day-by-day, moment-by-moment — asking for his direction, so we join him where he is at work. We want to be obedient and lean into his work with all that we are.
Our hope is to see Christ not only as the head, setting direction, but in day-to-day ministry. We want to learn to listen to him in the small and mundane times, and in the big and life-changing moments.

Engage with Us
We want you, our partners, to join us as we seek to develop a deep-rooted culture of prayer. Below are two ways to engage in alongside OC.
Daily Prayer Points

Prayer for ministry and mission workers is critical. OC workers feel the prayers of their partners carrying them. Your prayers help further the kingdom of God around the world because they strengthen, encourage, and carry those who are working to transform lives, communities, and nations through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Spiritual Formation
Mission workers around the world share resources for us to deepen our relationship with the Lord and enrich our prayer life. One resource is the video series “Listening to God,” by Tammy L. These prayer exercises help focus our hearts, minds, and listening ears to what Christ has for us.
